Rituals allow us to embrace the sacred powers that fuel material existence. They are our spiritual lifelines.
But nowadays, many people feel estranged from the religious structures in which they were raised: the secrets behind the rituals seem the sole possessions of ancient lost civilizations and religious organizations. Besides, the rituals they have inherited do not satisfy their longing for meaning and purpose in life. Also, they live in a society that considers rituals superstitious. We should try to address these issues, rather than reject the rituals.
Ritulas play a key role in spirituality. Imagine a soccer match without the ritual of an applause after every goal. The game may go on, but the soccer lovers would find something significant missing. If a simple applause can have such a profound effect on a soccer match, wouldn’t the sacred rituals recommended by the scriptures and saints not have an effect on our life?
yeah absolutely.. we should realise every scientific aspect of the ritual. as its always related to science but many indian dont realise this & foolishly convert to other religion.
Every Religion has its Rituals to b followed. The followers must understand the reason for doing them by heart and soul.If it happens Rituals and Religion binds us.Help us to grow as a Human being who see God’s presence in every Living being..Thus Rituals take us towards Spirituality.
Bharat’s rituals are not just rituals they are one step towards spiritual process.
